PRAGUE - Dion Nelin, Danish best ranked player in the Word ranking, showed his inimitable style during 6th playing weekend in Czech three cushion league. In his match he scored 40 points in 10 innings within 30 minutes. In the second inning Nelin produced a magnificient run of 18. Full concentrated, Nelin overcame the performance of Dick Jaspers and this match is now the best ever played in Czech republic. In January Dick beat Ivo Gazdos 40-5 in 11 innings.

PRAGUE - Current world number 1 Dick Jaspers played a main role in the 5th playing weekend in Czech 3-cushion league. The overall winner of the World cup circuit 2019 was invited to play for the first time in his career in the Czech competition. He joined the team of BC Vitkov-Sokol Zizkov. Two years ago, in 2017, Jaspers played for the team of Mr. Jiri Vitek in the Coupe d‘Europe for classic teams.

07. 04. 2017Bravo Bochum, bravo Sam, Thomas and Ludger
PRAGUE - The German billiard team of Bochum, with Ludger Havlik (48), Thomas Nockemann (45) and the 20-year Dutch top talent Sam van Etten, has won the gold medal in the European Cup for classic club teams, for the first time in the eight year history. The joy after the victory in the final against the French Ronchin (4-2) was heard far beyond the billiard room. Ludger Havlik, the veteran, gave his comment among singing supporters. Sam van Etten: ,,We were here with a lot of German fans and my two grandfathers and my grandmother also travelled to Prague to support me. The ambiance after our gold win was really fantastic.''

PRAGUE - The Czech team Vitkov Prague with Marek Faus, the Belgian Eddy Leppens and the Dutch player Dick Jaspers is the title holder in the European Cup for classic teams in Prague this weekend. The defending champion has strengthened its team for this tournament with Dick Jaspers, the world's number one in three cushion, and seems stronger than ever before. The Dutchman, who plays one cushion, is replacing the German Wolfgang Zenkner in the team. The European Cup is organized by Vitkov Prague together with the CEB, the European Billiard Federation. The tournament will be broadcast live by Kozoom.

22. 04. 2016Vitkov Prague winner thanks to Faus and Leppens
PRAAG - The victory in the Europa Cup was celebrated with a delectable Dom Perignon, after the team of Vitkov Prague had to dig deep to beat Chartres from France 4-2 in the final on Sunday. Marek Faus was the undisputed MVP of the team all through the tournament, German veteran Wolfgang Zenkner was the weakest link (he lost four matches in a row), and it was Eddy Leppens who was put under tremendous pressure to bring home the bacon.

05. 03. 2016Etikon, Chartres and Ronchin group winners
PRAGUE - The teams of Etikon, Chartres and Ronchin remained unbeaten in the preliminary rounds of the Coupe d'Europ for classic games. The Dutch team Etikon, five-time winner of the European Cup, defeated two French teams this weekend and was the group winner to advance to the final round from 22 to April 24 in Prague. Vitkov Prague, the title holder, was seeded automatically. Andernos and Bochum were in the groups second best and join the teams for the final rounds.

05. 10. 2015Olivier Careaux shows up with high class win
PRAGUE - The French supremacy in the Euro Grand Prix balk-line 71/2 in Prague is crowned by an excellent victory of Olivier Careaux. The undisputed best player of the tournament won the final against the Spaniard Raul Cuenca 200-44 in four innings. The numbers three and four on the podium were the French Patrick Dupont and David Jacquet.
